ESI wins Most Innovative Project of the year for a Holiday Letting Management solution at the Honeywell HIS Conference, 2017

 

ESI won the Most Innovative Project of the year at the Honeywell HIS (Honeywell Integrated Security) Conference held in Monza last week. ESI’s solution was nominated for an award for being the most innovative project, together with another sixteen nominations from Honeywell partners across EMEA. ESI’s solution faced stiff competition against a number of multimillion dollar solutions nominated in this category. The solution from ESI was commended by the judges for thinking out-of-the-box and their solution was singled out for doing so much more than just ticking the box for innovation in security.

 

The solution was developed for the owner and operator of a multi-apartment building, for holiday lets. The client required a key-less and automated check-in solution for his guests when accessing the apartments. The system needed to integrate with a booking application which was already in place.

 

The solution is a 1st of its kind within the industry, which enables the guest to automatically receive the PIN code soon after the booking is confirmed. The guest will have access to the booked apartment without the need of check-in procedures and also avoiding hand-over and management of keys or cards. The solution also includes an automated billing feature, that generates the bill for the utilities’ consumption (electrical and water) to the guest at check-out.
