A building energy management system (BEMS) is made up of sophisticated technological equipment, engineered and put together to monitor and control a building's technical and utility services. These systems are a critical component to managing energy usage.

 

In most cases the requirements for a BEMS are drafted on this basis alone, that is; controlling and monitoring the facilities’ utilities and services, to maintain a comfortable working environment.
