As part of ISO credentials, ESI must be externally audited every year in order to confirm they are keeping their required standards.

This years’ audit was done by Dr R J Murphy, lead auditor operating for AJA Registrars (UK).

 

Dr Murphy had nothing but praise for ESI, and had the following feedback after the audit had taken place.

“ESI is lucky to have an adventurous and entrepreneurial owner, John Fenech, ably supported by Simon Abela, the projects manager and Trevor Buhagiar, the sales and marketing manager. It is obvious they form a very effective team, because ESI has secured important contracts in the USA, quite an achievement for a company from an island as small as Malta!

 

Undoubtedly the success comes from good management, and this is exemplified by the state of the management system, which is registered to both ISO 9001 (quality) and ISO 14001 (environmental management).

 

The audit went smoothly; all my questions were answered promptly and by the time of the closing meeting on the third day, I was convinced that ESI is operating a management system that ensures complete satisfaction to its the customers (the objective of quality management systems, ISO 9001) and that it was in good control of its (very small) effect upon the environment (the objective of environmental management systems, ISO 14001).”
