The Life Sciences Park offers locations for start-ups and existing companies and is geared towards advanced pharmaceutical research & business development. The BEMS system which ESI designed and installed, monitors and controls various building services plant and equipment, ensuring optimum energy efficiency while this operate.
These systems include Heating Ventilation and Air-Conditioning systems (HVAC), plumbing and water harvesting systems, energy metering; including electrical and water sub-metering for tenants, as well as monitoring the Fire Alarm and Fire Smoke system statuses.
 
ESI delivered a system that is based on the Niagara platform by Tridium. This includes a number of intelligent controllers, which use the building IT infrastructure to relay data from different plant and technical equipment to a central server. Thanks to this, the building operators and users monitor and control the building systems from one user-friendly interface.
